The Ministry of Education have issued the “Notice on the Work of General College Admissions in 2025,” outlining the arrangements for the 2025 general college admissions process. According to the notice, the 2025 national unified college entrance examination will be held on June 7th and 8th.
The national unified examination will begin on June 7th, with the specific subject schedule as follows:
- June 7th: 9:00 to 11:30 – Chinese; 15:00 to 17:00 – Mathematics.
- June 8th: 9:00 to 11:30 – Liberal Arts Comprehensive/Science Comprehensive; 15:00 to 17:00 – Foreign Language. For foreign language listening tests, the listening component should generally be conducted before the written test.
If a province’s exams include subjects with the same names as the national exam (like Chinese or Math), the province must hold those exams at the same time as the national exam schedule.
The examination times for provincial-level unified examinations and college admissions examinations will be determined and announced by each provincial admissions committee and colleges, respectively, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education.
