Peoples Park Haikou

People's Park is situated pretty centrally within Haikou city. The park is free to enter and will take around 2-3 hours to walk around its 350 acres.

Watersports on Xi xiu beach

Windsurfing, kiteboarding and sailing all take place on Xi xiu beach. There's also a few clubs along the beach for gear rentals and lessons.

Hainan Style Snacks

The menu at Coconut House mainly consists of drinks and snacks made from fruits. One of the primary ingredients used is coconuts, hence the name “Coconut House”.

Old Town Snack Street

Qi lou snack street is perhaps the most famous snack street in all of Haikou. It is located right next to Haikou's historic old town and the perfect place to grab food after spending the day wandering around the arcade streets.

Old Town East Gate Market

The market is best visited during early mornings and usually dies off around 11am. It's one of the oldest markets in Haikou and the best place to see real Hainanese style food market. Take your camera along because there's plenty to see.
