Haikou issues notice on adjusting high-risk areas

According to the needs of the current epidemic prevention and control work in Haikou City, and with the relevant provisions of the “New Coronavirus Pneumonia Prevention and Control Plan (Ninth Edition)” of the State Council’s Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism for the Epidemic, an expert group has judged that from July 2022 from 5:00 on the 14th, the city’s high-risk areas will be adjusted as follows.

High risk areas

Weiye zhiqingchun (buildings 1-5) on Yehai Avenue in Longhua District, Evergrande cultural tourism city (buildings 8, 9, 15 and 16), dormitory buildings in the southern area for teaching and engineering in Hainan University in Meilan District (buildings 43, 44 and 46), postal Jiayuan on Haidian second East Road, and Gaodeng Cast Pipe Community in Qiongshan district are high-risk areas.

Sealing and control measures: stay at home, door-to-door service. If there are no new infections in the area for 7 consecutive days, and all people in the risk area have completed a negative round of nucleic acid testing, on the 7th day it will be reduced to a medium-risk area; no new infections for a further 3 consecutive days then reduced to a low-risk area.

The above measures will be implemented from 5:00 on July 14th, 2022, and will be adjusted according to the changes in the epidemic prevention and control situation. Residents in medium- and high-risk areas can call the 12345-service hotline of Haikou City if they encounter difficulties in life and medical treatment.
