Temporary Traffic Control Measures in Haikou for College Entrance Exams

June 4th , the Haikou Public Security Bureau Traffic Police announced that to ensure the safety, order, and smooth flow of traffic around the examination venues during the college entrance exams, there will be temporary traffic controls on certain roads in Haikou according to relevant regulations.

Temporary Traffic Controls in the Area of Hainan Middle School / High School

(a) Control Schedule:

  • June 7: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM; 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
  • June 8: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM
  • June 9: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM; 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
  • June 10: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM; 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM

(b) Controlled Roads: Vehicles on Banqiao Road and Dalu Street will only be allowed to travel west to east (from Longkunnan Road towards Zhuyun Road). Vehicles on Jinhua New Road will only be allowed to travel north to south (from Hongcheng Lake Road towards Banqiao Road).

Temporary Traffic Controls During the English Listening Exam on June 8

(a) Control Schedule: June 8, 2:50 PM – 3:20 PM

(b) Controlled Roads:

  1. Hainan Overseas Chinese High School Exam Centre

Speed Limit Zones: Traffic speed limit signs (60 km/h) will be set up at the following locations: the east-to-west direction at the intersection of Haixiu Expressway and Guoxing Avenue, the ramp intersection of Nanda Interchange Expressway, and the west-to-east direction at the Jinken ramp of Haixiu Expressway.

  • Hainan Agricultural Reclamation High School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The southern half of the road from the intersection of Jinniu Road and Binyai Road to the intersection of Binyai Road and Haiken Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should take Haiken Road and Jinniu Road as alternative routes.

  • Haikou No. 1 High School Exam Centre and Haikou Tourism Vocational School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: Baishuitang Road from the intersection of Baishuitang Road and Fujing Road to the intersection of Baishuitang Road and Jinfeng Road, Jinfeng Road from the intersection of Baishuitang Road and Jinfeng Road to the intersection of Jinfeng Road and Yehai Avenue, Fujing Road from the intersection of Baishuitang Road and Fujing Road to the intersection of Fujing Road and Fuyuan Road, and all of Fuyuan Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should take alternative routes via Fukang Road, Fujing Road, Yehai Avenue, and Qiuhai Avenue.

Haikou Qiongshan High School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The northern half of the road on Xinzhou Avenue from the intersection of Xinzhou Avenue and Binjiang Road to the intersection of Xinzhou Avenue and Tieqiao Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should take alternative routes via Tieqiao Road and Binjiang Road.

  • Hainan Middle School High School Division Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The entire section from the intersection of Dalu Street and Banqiao Road to the north gate of Hainan Middle School, and the entire section of Gaodeng West Street from the intersection of Gaodeng West Street and Zhuyun Road to the intersection of Gaodeng West Street and Longkunnan Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should use Hongcheng Lake Road, Jinhua New Road, Zhuyun Road, or Zhenxing Road as alternative routes.

  • High School Division of the Affiliated School of Hainan Normal University Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The western half of Qiongshan Avenue from the intersection of Xinzhou Avenue and Qiongshan Avenue to the intersection of Qiongshan Avenue and Shunda Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should use Binjiang Road or Yehai Avenue as alternative routes.

  • Haikou Experimental High School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The entire section of Haifu 2nd Cross Road from the intersection of Haifu 2nd Cross Road and Zhenxing South Road to the intersection of Haifu 2nd Cross Road and Haifu Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should use Bailong South Road, Bailong South 1st Cross Road, or Zhenxing South Road as alternative routes.

  • Haikou No. 4 High School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The western half of Meiyuan Road from the intersection of Haifu 1st Cross Road and Meiyuan Road to the intersection of Meiyuan Road and Qingnian Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should use Qingnian Road or Qunxian Road as alternative routes.

  • Haikou No. 2 High School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The entire section of Haidian 1st East Road from under Renmin Bridge to the intersection of Haidian 1st East Road and Haidian East 1st Street will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should use Haidian 2nd East Road or Haidian East 1st Street as alternative routes.

  • Beijing Normal University Haikou Affiliated School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The entire section of Meizhuang Road will be closed.

  • Qiongshan Overseas Chinese High School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The section of Zhenfa Cross Road east of the intersection with Zhenqun Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should use Zhenqun Road or Zhenfa Road as alternative routes.

  • Haikou Haigang School Exam Centre

Restricted Roads: The sections of Haigang Road and Shuangyong Road will be closed. Vehicles not involved in exam activities should use Qiuhai 1st Cross Road, Haixiu Road, Binhai Avenue, Qiuhai Avenue, or Yongwan Road as alternative routes.
