Q. What are the departments responsible for work permit related matters in Hainan, address and telephone?

A: Registration units are located in Haikou, Sanya, Danzhou and the Yangpu Economic Development Zone, the administration of Foreign Expert’s Affairs have jurisdiction and are responsible for approval.  

Hainan Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs is responsible for the approval of applications from units in cities and counties other than Haikou, Sanya, Danzhou and the Yangpu Economic Development Zone.

Currently, Hainan Province has delegated pre-approval right to essential parks, such as the Hainan Ecological Software Park, Fuxing City Internet Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, Bo’ao Lecheng pilot zone of International Medical Tourism, and Yazhou Bay Tech City. For employers registered in the above parks, the applicants can apply directly in the parks.
