10°C Temperature Rise Expected in the Coming Days, Rain Continues

Since the beginning of February, southern China has seen frequent rainy weather, with fewer hours of sunshine. According to China Weather Network, a significant warm-up is expected to begin next week, with temperatures rising by more than 10°C in most regions.

However, before this temperature increase arrives, many areas will continue to experience relatively low temperatures. Haikou’s meteorological station has provided the following detailed forecast:

February 23–25:

A cold front will keep the weather cloudy with occasional light showers. Expect temperatures to range between 15°C and 20°C.

February 26:

The weather will remain cloudy with light showers, potentially making roads slippery and affecting traffic.

February 27–March 1:

A southerly airflow will bring gradual warming, with temperatures rising steadily each day. Expect cloudy skies with some light fog or mist in the early mornings and evenings. Fog may reduce visibility and affect road conditions. The maximum temperature will range from 23°C to 29°C, with the lowest temperatures between 18°C and 20°C.

When Will the Rain End in the South?

As per the latest forecast, the persistent rainy weather in southern China is expected to continue until the end of February as most southern regions continue to experience overcast skies and showers.

Residents are advised to stay warm, keep dry, and carry rain gear when heading out. Drivers should reduce speed in wet conditions to ensure safety.
