I’m Juan Dedios Rodolfo Sipiran Ramirez, from Peru

I'm Juan Ramirez, an international student at Hainan University, I’m from Peru

I am Juan Ramirez, an international student at Hainan University, I’m from Peru. Hainan University is located in Haikou, the capital of Hainan Province. It is a very beautiful school. I feel that Hainan University’s environment is very beautiful and studying in this environment is a happy experience.

I am very glad to be at such a school, and I believe that I can develope well in any field of employment or further education in the future.

Six years ago, I came to China to fulfill my Chinese dream.

Because I like the sweet air, the ocean and the warm and friendly people in Hainan, I chose to stay. Over the past six years, people in Hainan have given me a huge welcome. Hainan is my ideal home.

In school, I met many friends from all over the world, both Chinese and foreign. We have been to many places together, seen a lot of beautiful scenery, and ate delicious food.

Here, I feel the warmth of home. The school is very considerate to organize many meaningful activities for international students, such as calligraphy competitions, martial arts competitions, sports games and so on.

Among them, I like the calligraphy competition the most. Because when I practice calligraphy, I can experience the breadth and depth of Chinese culture, which motivates me to study Chinese language and culture even harder.

In my spare time, I often travel with my friends. Hainan has the world’s first high-speed rail around the island, and it greatly facilitates people’s travel.

My friends and I have taken the high-speed train around the island to travel to Sanya. During the day, I walk on the beach with my friends, feel the sea breeze blowing, listen to the sound of the waves crashing against the rocks, and enjoy the warmth of the sun on my body, which is very comfortable.

I love sports because it makes people healthy, smart, and most importantly, happy. Hainan University has held many campus activities, such as sports, swimming competitions and they have formed an international student football team, which further allows us to better integrate into Chinese study and life and meet like-minded friends.

Welcome to Hainan University for an exceptional learning experience.
