School resumption time for Sanya has been announced

On April 18th, the Sanya Education Bureau issued a notice stating that the resumption of classes in kindergartens, vocational schools, and training institutions in the city will be carried out in accordance with the principle of “zoning and batching”.

Yazhou District, Haitang District, and Yucai Ecological District; for primary and secondary school and kindergarten students, the time to return to school is set for April 21st,

Secondary vocational schools, primary and secondary schools directly under the municipality, special education schools, and primary and secondary schools in Jiyang District and Tianya District will return to school on April 24th.

Kindergarten students in Jiyang District and Tianya District will return to school on April 25th.

Sanya training institutions and students who receive offline teaching, will return to school after the last lockdown area in the city is unsealed.

For all students, two negative nucleic acid tests are required before returning to school, (taken 72 hours before, two inspections in three days, with a 24-hour interval between tests).

On the day of returning to school, teachers, students and employees who are still in the centralized isolation area, closed control area, and control area will suspend their return to school.

They can only return to school after the lockdown is lifted. Before returning to school, they will present two negative nucleic acid test certificates within 48 hours (24 hours apart). 

Students whose health code is red or yellow will not return to school.

Students with symptoms such as fever, dry cough, sore throat, runny nose, fatigue, decreased sense of smell (taste), conjunctivitis, myalgia, diarrhoea, etc. are required to show two negative nucleic acid test certificates before returning to school, taken within 48 hours (24 hours apart).
