April 6, thunderstorms with winds reaching levels 7–9 were observed over the Qiongzhou Strait. Strong lightning accompanied these conditions. While this advisory period has passed, lightning activity and rain may continue in isolated areas, so precautions are still recommended.

Weather Forecast (April 7–8):

April 7 (Day to Night):

  • Northern Hainan: Cloudy with light rain, temperatures 19–21°C (low) and 24–26°C (high).
  • Central Hainan: Cloudy with light rain, temperatures 20–22°C (low) and 26–28°C (high).
  • Eastern Hainan: Cloudy with light rain, temperatures 20–22°C (low) and 24–26°C (high).
  • Southern Hainan: Cloudy, some areas may have light rain, temperatures 22–24°C (low) and 28–30°C (high).

April 8 (Day to Night):

  • Slight temperature increases are expected across all regions, accompanied by cloudy weather and occasional rain in certain areas.

Marine Weather Update:

April 7–8:

  • Coastal waters near northern Beibu Gulf, western, eastern, and southern Hainan Island will experience east-northeast winds at force 5, with gusts up to force 6.
  • Maritime zones near Xisha, Zhongsha, and Nansha Islands will also see strong winds and thunderstorms, with gusts reaching force 8 during lightning activity.
