Zhu Huili, lecturer at Hainan University, comprehensive elementary Chinese, and reading

Hello, I’m Zhu Huili, a lecturer at Hainan University.

The main courses I teach are elementary Chinese, comprehensive and reading. I have twenty-six years teaching experience including 16 years of teaching Chinese as a foreign language, teaching foreign students comprehensive courses, reading, listening, speaking, writing, and modern and contemporary literary works.

I have taught basic Chinese, comprehensive and reading for a long time and have served as the head teacher for many international students.

It’s important to me to have a good education and teaching quality, be familiar with students’ psychology, be good at inspiring and activating students, and also have a good affinity for them.

The main course “Developing Chinese Elementary Comprehensive” is a course that comprehensively cultivates learners’ Chinese language, communicative ability, and ability to use Chinese, as well as enhances Chinese learning interest and Chinese learning ability.

Through the study of this course, students can have introductory Chinese communication skills, can use Chinese to solve simple problems in daily life, have a preliminary understanding of Chinese cultural knowledge related to Chinese communication, and have initial cross-cultural awareness.

I also tutor students for the Chinese Calligraphy Competition for International Students hosted by the Beijing Language Society, and many of my students have won awards.

I have guided students to participate in the “Chinese Day, Shui Muqing” Chinese Poetry Short Video Competition organised by the Language Cooperation Center of the Ministry of Education and won the Excellence Award.

Hainan has the most beautiful ecological environment, the most favorable policy environment, the most optimized business environment, and a superior institutional environment. Coming to Hainan to study, work and live and it will be a choice you will not regret.
