Fourth China Int’l Consumer Products Expo: Latest Developments and Key Highlights

The Fourth China International Consumer Products Expo (referred to as the “Fourth Consumer Expo”) is nearing completion with nearly 90% progress achieved, marking a significant milestone as thousands of exhibits from almost 50 countries and regions are confirmed for participation. The event, co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Hainan Province, is scheduled to run from April 13th to 18th.

Efforts to attract top international consumer brands for investment and exhibition are underway, as the expo aims to showcase a diverse array of “new,” “novel,” and “unique” consumer products. Renowned enterprises, including Aosen from Singapore, Kacher from Germany, Huaxi Biotechnology, and iFLYTEK from China, have already confirmed their participation, ready to unveil their latest offerings.

The expo, following the theme of “exhibiting throughout the island,” will span across multiple venues structured as “1+3+8+8.” The main exhibition area at the Hainan International Convention and Exhibition Centre will feature 8 large exhibition halls. Additionally, three sub-exhibition areas will be set up, focusing on various themes such as duty-free consumption, international sailboat yacht exhibitions, and health consumption.

Thematic events will include the Global Consumer Innovation and Duty-Free & Tourism Retail Conference, the China (Hainan) – Ireland Life Sciences Exchange and Matchmaking Conference, and others, while activities will range from official events to new product launches, policy briefings, and entertainment tourism activities. The expo aims to promote global collaboration and innovation, cementing its role as a significant platform for consumer product exchange and development.
