Haikou, Sanya, Qionghai and Wanning Schools and kindergartens postpone return to school

Haikou:

April 5th, a press conference on the prevention and control of the coronavirus in Haikou City announced that from April 6th to 8th, teachers and students of all types of schools, kindergartens, and offline education and training institutions in Haikou City will be suspended from returning to school.

Schools are required to properly arrange teaching activities so that students can continue classes online without disruption.

Sanya:

April 4th the Sanya Education Bureau issued a notice that in view of the current epidemic situation in Sanya and in order to ensure the health and safety of teachers and students in the city, after the Qingming Festival holiday on April 5th, secondary vocational schools, primary and secondary schools, and kindergartens in Sanya will remain suspended.

The specific time for returning to school will be notified according to the development of the epidemic situation in Sanya City.

Colleges and universities will implement closed-loop management; off-campus training institutions to suspend offline teaching and training activities.

Qionghai:

Schools at all levels and types in Qionghai City will postpone their return to school on April 6th, and wait for the specific return time notification from the Municipal Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters.

Each school will check the travel situation with staff and students who have lived in Sanya, Haikou, Danzhou, Wanning and Lingshui, and register and report.

All schools should ensure their online teaching is effective.

Wanning:

From April 6th to 8th, all kinds of schools (including secondary vocational schools and special schools) and kindergartens in Wanning City will be suspended from returning to school. 

The specific time of returning to school will be notified according to the epidemic prevention and control situation in the whole province. 

Training institutions shall suspend all offline education and teaching activities. During the postponement all schools should carry out online teaching, so as to ensure that students do not stop classes or go without teaching.
