Received this text? Make sure you complete a nucleic acid test within 24 hours

The Haikou Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Headquarters issued an epidemic prevention and control reminder saying that on March 29, Haikou added 1 new confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia.

In order to prevent and control the epidemic in Haikou, the Epidemic Prevention and Control Work Headquarters has sent nucleic acid testing text messages to citizens who have stayed in key places of case activity or who may have been in close contact with the case.

Those that have received a text message should take the following measures:

1. Go to the nearest temporary sampling point for nucleic acid testing, complete the first test within 24 hours, and implement the “two inspections in three days” (that is, two nucleic acid tests at 24-hour intervals within three days) from the next day.

2. Monitor your health. If you have symptoms such as fever (body temperature ≥37.3°C), dry cough, fatigue, nasal congestion and runny nose, sore throat, decreased sense of smell (taste), conjunctivitis, myalgia or diarrhea, etc.

For personal protection, immediately go to the nearest fever clinic of a medical institution for a check up and truthfully inform the doctor of your recent route history and who you have been in contact with. Wear a mask during the whole process of medical treatment, and avoid taking public transportation.

3. Those who have not completed the first nucleic acid test within 24 hours after receiving the text message will be assigned a yellow code. After completing the corresponding tests, and the test results are all negative, they will be automatically converted to a green code within 24 hours.

In case of system failure or failure to transcode in time, please go to the nearest neighborhood committee with the corresponding nucleic acid test results for manual transcoding.

If you encounter any problems, please call the 12345 government service hotline for consultation.

4. The general public is requested not to spread rumors. Only follow official announcements on epidemic news. Continue to enhance awareness of prevention, wear masks, wash hands frequently, ventilate frequently, maintain a safe social distance, do not gather, and vaccinate.
